One of the first commercially successful electric instruments, the EH-150 was introduced by Gibson in 1936 alongside the ES-150 archtop as part of their first coordinated electric line. The early "Charlie Christian" blade-style pickup fitted to these instruments remains one of the most celebrated pickups ever made. Sunburst lacquer finish, maple body and neck. Comes with original Geib tweed hardshell case. Made in Kalamazoo, Michigan. On consignment.
