Gibson Hummingbird Special Left-Handed Acoustic Guitar & Case, Vintage Cherry Sunburst

First introduced in 1960, the Gibson Hummingbird™ is one of the most distinctive and well-loved acoustic guitars ever made. Handcrafted with care in Bozeman, Montana, by Gibson’s expert acoustic luthiers, the new Gibson Hummingbird Special offers players a USA-built Gibson Hummingbird model at a very attractive price. The Hummingbird Special has a traditional square-shouldered body constructed using genuine solid mahogany for the back and sides and a solid Sitka spruce top. The “concert depth” body is slightly thinner than the body on a Hummingbird Standard. The utile neck has a comfortable Round profile, and the rosewood fretboard features pearloid parallelogram inlays. It is equipped with a TUSQ® saddle, nut and bridge pins. High-quality Grover® Rotomatic® tuners ensure rock-solid tuning stability. The Hummingbird Special is finished in satin nitrocellulose lacquer. It comes equipped with an L.R. Baggs™ Element Bronze under-saddle piezo pickup and active preamp with an easily accessible soundhole-mounted volume control.  Including a premium softshell case.
