Part of Martin's refreshed Standard Series for 2025, the D-17 revives the all-mahogany dreadnought tradition of the 1930s and 40s. It has solid mahogany top, back, and sides, all in a satin finish. With forward-shifted Golden Era scalloped X-bracing, ebony fingerboard and bridge, and a modified low oval neck profile. It provides a focused, mid-forward dreadnought well suited to singer-songwriters and fingerpickers. It has a tortoise plastic pickguard, and Grover open gear tuners. Martin hardshell case.
