This plectrum banjo from the 1920s could be an excellent candidate for a 5-string conversion. The 2-piece mahogany neck has a carved heel, and a 22-fret ebony fingerboard. It features a "pie section" resonator, tubaphone tone ring, and 28 brackets with individual flanges. Other hardware consists of planetary tuners and Vega armrest and a Grover De Luxe "clamshell" tailpiece. Original hard shell case. Made in USA.
